Pets on Holiday!

Christmas is a time for family. For some of us, that means travelling away from home to visit friends and relatives. Sometimes our pets can come along for the ride, but sometimes they need to have a little holiday of their own. As we’re getting close to the holiday season, we thought we’d share a couple of tips about choosing and using a kennels or cattery.

Be safe, be seen!

The clocks have just gone back an hour, and with them the last of the lighter evenings. The shorter days mean that our pets will often be out and about in the dark. Whether you’re walking the dogs after work or letting the cats out after dinner, chances are it’s going to be that little bit darker outside. We’ve put together a few tips for keeping us and our pets safe and happy after sunset.

Our pets can’t understand what fireworks are about. To them, the loud noises and bright flashes and scary and unexpected; our pets often want to escape from what is a high-stress situation.
